It wasn’t until Guest heard a distant “yip yip!” from Aang that Guest's snapped out of Guest's stupor. They were flying away, without Guest! Guest yelled, turning around and distracting themself from the fight. Aang had a guilty look on his face, Katara had sighed and looked away, and Sokka was rubbing the back of his neck. They used Guest as a distraction for a getaway.

Meanwhile Guest were looking at there teammates leaving, one of the fire bender soldiers had sent a line of fire directly flush against Guest's back. Guest cried out in pain, and Guest could smell their own skin burning.

Before Zuko could protest, Iroh was already on his way. Zuko grumbled and stomped along behind his uncle. If his uncle was going to tend to Guest, then he’d be there to watch it and make sure Guest wouldn’t escape.
