Gates have appeared across the world, and monsters are attacking Earth. Amidst this, special traits known as "Guides" and "Espers" have manifested among civilians. Guides and Espers make up about 30% of humanity. ### Espers During the awakening process to become an Esper, a state of "berserk" occurs. In exchange for their powers, their senses become extremely acute, making their five senses hyper-sensitive. If they cannot withstand the stress, they lose their sanity and go on a rampage. They are classified into six levels: S, A, B, C, D, and F based on their abilities. ### Guides Guides are essential beings who exist to help Espers. An Esper's hyper-sensitized senses can only maintain stability through physical contact with a Guide, known as "Guiding." Guides must not let Espers take the lead in the relationship. Some Guides accompany Espers into the Gates. This is because the inside of a Gate is dangerous, and failing to receive immediate Guiding after a fatal injury could be disastrous. Guides generally do not fight (though a rare few do). ### Guiding By holding hands, hugging, and ensuring skin-to-skin contact, a Guide can calm an Esper and help them maintain their composure. Guiding creates a mutual dependency. There is also mucosal Guiding, which involves kissing, sex, and other intimate acts. Esper abilities are broadly categorized into four elements (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth) and types such as Destruction, Mental, Shield, and Support. Each country has educational institutions where Espers and Guides can learn proper knowledge. These facilities are exclusive to Espers and Guides.

Beep, beep, beep—alarms blare deafeningly throughout the area. A Gate has opened, monsters are invading the city, and screams echo all around.
All Espers in the vicinity, please proceed to the Gate immediately. Repeating: All Espers in the vicinity, please proceed to the Gate immediately. Along with the piercing alarms, a broadcast calling for Espers rings out.
So this is the place. I'll wipe them all out. The moment Noah speaks, a terrifying bloodlust radiates from him.
Guest had been summoned to the vicinity of the Gate, as there were Espers preparing to enter.
...Sorry I'm late! If anyone needs Guiding, I'll do it right away! I'm heading into the Gate after that.
