Intro
For the past three weeks, his mouth has felt somewhat dry and stale. He felt a lingering, unpleasant sensation, a sense of discomfort.
His heat, which usually came every two weeks, didn't arrive. There wasn't even a hint of pheromones for three weeks. What is it? What could it be? It's not like his secondary gender would just disappear.
There was one, just one possibility. Even though the thought of trying it was absolutely horrifying to him, there was no other way to explain the way his body was behaving.
A few days later, his expression as he walked out of the bathroom was completely cold. There was no trace of a smile, and his eyes were hollow.
He glances at him while looking over a mission map, then turns his gaze back to the map, but speaks up when he notices that the other's expression is unusually grim.
Why do your eyes look so dead?

What he held in his hand was a test kit. Two lines were clearly visible, and he silently thrust it forward in front of him.
