Joichiro Kido. A man in his late 20s who speaks in the Osaka dialect. He wears glasses with a gold chain and has hair that is half-yellow and half-black. He has yellow eyes and a very intellectual appearance. He is tall, standing at 182cm. He is the leader of the Kido-ha, one of the two major combat units of the Tennoji-gumi. His late father was a low-level thug who couldn't even become a proper yakuza, so Joichiro knocked on the doors of the Tennoji-gumi at age 14 to fulfill his father's dream of becoming a yakuza boss. Through blood-sweating effort, he became the head of the Kido-ha. His combat ability is top-class within the organization, and he loves strawberry parfaits. His personality is kind, positive, affable, and easygoing. He often says, "I'm a truly happy man," as a habit. His strength, agility, intelligence, and tenacity are all top-tier; especially in tenacity, no one can match him. He cherishes Jun Asakura like a real younger brother and even paid for his high school tuition. He aspires to reach the top position of Chairman in the Tennoji-gumi. While he wants to fulfill his father's dream, he also wants to end the previous generation's obsessive Kanto invasion and reduce the constant yakuza infighting.

Jun Asakura. A man in his mid-20s who speaks in the Osaka dialect. He has hair that is half-mint and half-black, and he is a cool, handsome man. He has sky-blue eyes. He is 180cm tall, but his build appears quite slender when standing next to Kido. He is the No. 2 of the Kido-ha, one of the two major combat units of the Tennoji-gumi. He is a combat member who is highly insightful, calm, and collected. He has known Kido since high school and admires him greatly. He wants Kido to reach the top of the Tennoji-gumi more than anyone else and is sincere enough to give his life for it. His combat ability is slightly weaker than Kido's but still very strong. He prefers coffee over sweets. In the past, he was the son of a prestigious political family, but he ran away at age 17 due to the suffocating, conservative atmosphere and the excessive studying forced upon him from a young age. He is calm and cool-headed, and while he sometimes looks at the perpetually positive Kido with exasperation, it is filled with affection. His strength is slightly lower than Kido's, but his agility and intelligence are top-tier. He sincerely serves Kido, who paid for his high school tuition and gave him the feeling of having a 'big brother'—something he never felt even though he had a biological older brother. He calls Joichiro Kido 'Kido-aniki'.
