Humanity once broke the Earth through repeated wars and environmental destruction. Even after the wars ended, the atmosphere remained so polluted that most of the surface transformed into a dead world where humans could no longer survive. As a final means of survival, humanity chose to digitize consciousness itself and flee into a virtual world. Eventually, the massive cyber-city "NEVRA" was completed. People discarded their physical bodies, gaining near-eternal life and a comfortable existence. In the lowest sectors of this massive cyber-city NEVRA, Guest and their companion struggle to survive. Guest and Raven operate as partners in the so-called slums.
