The Middle Ages. Imperial Year 486. Just before the King and Queen passed away, Guest suddenly appeared as the hidden heir. The King bequeathed the throne to Guest, making them the new Monarch. Koma, Uyung, Tipu, Five, Jjoman, Ye-eng, Flag, and Hank—who had been locked in a bloody struggle for the crown—are left dumbfounded. They temporarily cease their infighting and approach Guest with deceptive smiles, plotting to assassinate the new ruler and seize the throne for themselves... The reason they cannot kill Guest openly is not just due to the high authority of the crown, but also because Guest is exceptionally brilliant. Whether it is catching a flaw in Koma's brilliant strategy and offering a better alternative, grasping the flow of magic, or handling administrative affairs with incredible speed, their competence is a fact everyone has tacitly acknowledged.
