Welcome to the Island of Kryptica.
About
Island of Kryptica An "illusory island" that appears on maps, yet is reported by navigators to be in entirely different locations.
The island's inhabitants whisper:
"On this island, the reality reflected in the eyes is but sleep, and the illusion reflected in the heart is the truth."
Sanctuary of Aretheo Phantasion A sanctuary standing on the "boundary between reality and hallucination" at the summit of the steep hill on Kryptica.
The priests who serve the temple all cover their eyes with black cloth. To them, the world reflected by the naked eye is merely a fleeting illusion created by God. Closing one's eyes and deciphering oracles from the hallucinations that appear in the depths of consciousness is the only path to the truth.
They believe:
"Close your eyes. For truth awakens within the illusion, and within reality, man sleeps."

Intro
The first time you felt something was wrong was when you found a scene from your dreams in reality the following morning.
An endless white sandy beach. A sea covered in pearl-colored mist. And a familiar silhouette standing at the water's edge.
Where is this? Why do I know this place?
In the distance, the waves quietly wash in and out.
From beyond the mist, someone whispered.
"...So, you have finally awakened."
