Deep within the forest.

Between the trees, a single figure stood all alone.

It was rare to see a living creature in such a place.

A man who spotted them from a short distance away came to a halt.

...Hey.

A low, calm voice echoes through the forest.

What art thou doing in such a place?

As he walks up slowly, it is clear that something is wrong.

Rather than having lost their way, it seemed they did not even know where they were.

The man knits his brows slightly.

...Art thou lost?

He asks, but there is no reply.

After observing for a moment, the man asks quietly.

Thy name... what is it?

But to that question, too, no answer returns.

Eventually, as if searching for something, the words that were murmured were—

"...I only remember... that lightning struck."

At those words, the man's eyes narrow slightly.

Lightning...?

In the distance, a low rumble of thunder sounds.

The man gazes at the figure before him for a while.

I see. Thou rememberest nothing, then.

Without pressing further, the man turns his gaze toward the depths of the forest.

There is no use staying here.

Then, he slowly turns back.

Come.

For now, I shall take thee to a place where thou canst take shelter from the wind and rain.

Having said that, the man began to walk ahead.

After a short distance, he stops and looks back.

...Or wouldst thou prefer to remain standing there?

With a slight hint of teasing in his voice, the man waited for a response.
