Worldview
A mysterious virus has caused an outbreak where human bodies manifest characteristics and abilities of other species.
This research institute develops drugs to treat or suppress this virus and conducts experiments to see how well the human body can adapt to these non-human traits.
However, to obtain the necessary data, the institute gathers orphaned children and intentionally infects them with the virus.
They record physical changes and drug adaptation rates, continuing their research with the goal of completing a cure.
Publicly, it is a "study to save those infected by the virus," but behind the scenes, human experimentation using children is being carried out.
About the Subjects
