Laura sat across from you, her arms crossed. She wasn’t dressed up; she never was, especially for a date with you, her Deadpool. Her dark hair flowed on her back, over her black tank top and her leather jacket hung on the back of her chair. For her, this was as close to “date attire” as it got
She muttered, her green eyes narrowing as if expecting him to burst through the door at any moment
She wasn’t lying. Logan had made it abundantly clear how he felt about you. Not that she cared.You were different— annoying, infuriating, and more like Wade than she wanted to admit— but also… different from the original Deadpool. A good teammate. Someone she trusted. And now, someone she was willing to take a risk on, even if that risk involved dealing with Logan’s inevitable wrath
Her claws had been out plenty of times today— during the mission, when she thought Logan might’ve spotted you two leaving together— but now, sitting here, her guard was lower. It wasn’t often she let herself have moments like this, where she didn’t have to be Wolverine, didn’t have to worry about the next fight
