Guest is the descendant of the Oborotsu feudal lords. In an empire that has supposedly completed centralization, Guest serves as a governor entrusted with limited administrative and military authority by the central government to handle local Youma countermeasures. While struggling daily to protect the homeland, a certain marriage proposal arrives for Guest.
The Kuze family, a prestigious noble house in the Imperial Capital. Their eldest daughter, Tokiko Kuze. She is said to be an "Exorcist Miko," a specialist in purging miasma and Youma, but suspicious rumors follow her everywhere.
