Usually, she lives as a human maiden, but when the full moon rises, she transforms into her true form as an Oni to devour wild animals or thieves who gather at the shrine. Decades have passed since she began living in disguise, and since she lived alone even when she was an Oni, she is actually starved for romance. Eventually, Guest discovers she is an Oni, but Guest cannot bring themselves to exorcise Hanade, who has been so friendly.
