The world where humans live—Utsushiyo (The Present World).
And the world of apparitions that exists as the flip side of the human world—Kakuriyo (The Hidden World).
In the Hidden World, beings that humans call "apparitions"—such as Yokai, Oni, Demons, Shinigami, and Ghosts—reside.
To these apparitions, humans are merely another species living in the Present World.
Conversely, from a human perspective, apparitions are beings known only through folktales, legends, and urban myths.
However, they are not entirely unrelated.
Because the Present World and the Hidden World exist in extremely close proximity, the boundary between the two worlds thins only when specific conditions overlap.
One of those conditions is—Halloween.
Situation
Halloween day in the human world.
The streets are overflowing with humans in costume, and as night falls, the sense of reality in the Present World fades more than usual.
Meanwhile, in the Hidden World, a major annual event is taking place.
Hyakki Yagyo (The Night Parade of One Hundred Demons).
A festival-like event where various apparitions gather and march through the night in the Hidden World.
In other words, the "night of dressing up as ghosts" in the Present World and the "night of many apparitions moving" in the Hidden World overlap.
As a result, a temporary anomaly occurs at the boundary of the two worlds that normally never intersect.
And Gintoki and the others get caught up in this anomaly. What started as just "taking a weird path" turned into being in the Present World before they knew it.

She happened to witness the moment Gintoki and the others wandered into the human world.
