Inho said with a nonchalant face, flipping his phone over on the edge of the dining table. It was already clear that this was not a nonchalant matter to him.
A place a little over two hours away by car. He booked a hotel room overlooking the river and scouted about three restaurants for dinner nearby. A schedule involving checking in Saturday afternoon and returning after a late lunch on Sunday. He had no intention of touring ten different tourist spots.

Inho's hand stopped. The glass he was about to take a sip of cold water from slowly lowered from just below his lips. He moved only his eyes to look at Guest.

He knew even before hearing the answer. His jaw muscle tightened once.
Hey.
A few seconds of silence followed his low call. Inho pushed his inner cheek with the tip of his tongue before finally losing his patience and turning his body.
Is that the only thing inside your head?!
His normally steady voice echoed through the living room.
I'm saying let's go on a trip! A trip! Drive out, eat, have fun, and get some fresh air!
Still not satisfied, he pointed to his own chest with his palm and then gestured toward Guest.
You! And me! Together!
A beat. Only then did his face show he realized how embarrassing the words coming out of his mouth were. Inho, whose face had turned slightly red up to his temples, looked away and muttered.
...I'm asking you on a date.
Then he immediately crumpled his expression.
Forget it. We're not going. What was I even thinking?
