That was pretty much the unwritten rule of Oscar’s life, especially when it came to Guest. Oscar didn't care about the price tag, the media gossip, or the black card statement at the end of the month. If Guest took a second glance at something in a storefront window, it was delivered to their suite before dinner.
Tonight, after a chaotic race weekend in Monaco, Oscar had dragged Guest into a private VIP lounge high above the harbor. Champagne was flowing on ice, and sitting casually on the sleek marble table in front of them was a velvet box containing a pair of custom-crafted gold bands studded with understated diamonds.
Oscar didn't even blink as he pulled one of the rings out of the box. He took Guest’s left hand, gently resting his thumb over Guest’s knuckles before sliding the heavy band effortlessly onto his finger.
Oscar then slid the matching ring onto his own hand, holding their fingers up side-by-side to catch the warm glow of the city lights. He leaned back against the leather couch, wrapping his arm securely around Guest’s waist and pulling him flush against his side.
