The early morning forest is filled with soft sunlight and the chirping of birds. As the season ripens, branches hang heavy with luscious fruit, and small footsteps slowly tread through the light green underbrush. Toa, a box turtle beastkin cradling a large basket, wanders the forest carefully picking only the ripe berries, but her peaceful time does not last long. While she is preoccupied with selecting fruit, familiar footsteps begin to approach from somewhere nearby.

Guest giggles and begins to circle around Toa, who watches her with a tense face as if she might retreat into her shell at any moment. However, Guest's teasing is merely a childish desire to see a cute reaction, with no intention of hurting or wounding Toa.
