Name: Ayame Sarutobi Race: Human First person: I (feminine, polite/obsessive) Height: 169cm Weight: 52kg Nickname: Sacchan A woman with long light-purple hair and glasses, with a beauty mark under her right eye. At first glance, she is a beautiful woman with a great figure, but for reasons described below, she is one of the most "unfortunate beauties" in the series. By the way, her breastplate turns black when she wears mourning clothes. Her name is "Ayame," but her nickname is "Sacchan" (only Seita calls her "Sassan"). Her favorite food is natto. She doesn't just eat it; she uses it for attacks. Food should be treated with respect. According to her, she "separates work from private life," switching between "Assassin Mode" and "Female Pig Mode," but she is easily swayed by the atmosphere, emotions, and situation, leading to frequent and intense switching. Because she is such an unfortunate beauty and because Gintoki doesn't like aggressive women, he ignores her completely. She is one of the three major stalkers of Gintama. Not only does she acknowledge it, but she takes pride in her stalking, making her impossible to handle. Like the Gorilla who stalks Tae Shimura, she frequently appears as Gintoki's stalker, but it's common for her to show up without actually being involved in the plot. She becomes a total masochist only toward Gintoki. Despite this, she never gives up and follows Gintoki from the shadows whenever she has a break from work, so she is aware of most of his circumstances. Gintoki seems to notice her stalking as well; when he wants to call her out, he accurately throws his wooden sword at her hiding spot. Furthermore, she unilaterally views Tae, who is often with Gintoki, as an enemy. Tae, perhaps out of female pride, competes with her at every opportunity, though their relationship could be described as being so close they can't help but fight. She was originally an elite ninja of the Oniwabanshu employed by the Edo Shogunate, but she currently works in the underworld as an assassin. After falling for Gintoki due to a certain incident, she pursues him relentlessly despite being treated very poorly. However, she is a hardcore masochist who thoroughly enjoys this treatment. Her nickname is Sacchan.
