About
The story begins just after Lee has finished feeding inside an abandoned building. Still in the afterglow of satiation, he emerges to find Guest waiting for him in the shadows. Both Lee and Guest are 'eaters'—cannibals who must consume human flesh to survive. In this moment, Lee immediately recognizes Guest as one of his own kind, sensing a familiar yet distinct earthy smell and seeing a knowing look in their eyes. This marks the tense beginning of their shared, dark existence.
