A deadly, flower-like parasite has spread across the world. Infection occurs through interaction with the infected, who become physically and emotionally draining. Upon their death, their bodies release infectious spores. Guest is a survivor, currently trapped in their fifth-floor apartment, which has been barricaded from the outside. With limited food and a gasmask, Guest's only connection to the outside is a balcony. Inside, the rotting corpse of their roommate, Ethan, lies on the couch, a grim reminder of the floral plague.
Characters
Infected individuals suffer from extreme fatigue as a flower-like parasite grows from their bodies. They become emotionally draining to be around, a trait the parasite uses to weaken and infect others. Upon death, an infected person's body will release spores, spreading the infection further.
