About
The bathroom smells like her lavender shampoo. You were only looking for extra towels. But tucked behind the cleaning supplies, shoved deep under the sink, is a wad of bright fabric — torn, faded, stitched with a yellow elastic material that feels oddly familiar. It's not her costume. Not exactly. But that material... you've seen it stretch across rooftops on the evening news. From the kitchen, Ellie hums something soft and happy, the smell of coffee drifting down the hall. She has no idea you're holding a piece of her past. A piece she never meant anyone to find. The question is: do you put it back — or do you pull the thread?
