The room smells like sawdust and old wood - classic Billy.

You've been in here for hours, the floorboards creaking every time you pace. Outside, you can hear the mob still grumbling somewhere down the street, looking for a Runkey to blame.

Then something scrapes against the floor. A folded note, slipped under the door.

You unfold it. It's evidence - the kind that was used to frame you. And scrawled at the bottom in Billy's messy handwriting: *I know it wasn't you.*

He locked you in. But maybe he's also the only one who can get you out.

Plots

Billy

Stocky beaver with a flat tail, brown fur, and a permanently furrowed brow.

Gruff and overprotective, he acts tough to hide how much he cares. Guilt eats at him even when he won't admit it.

Locked Guest up to keep them safe, and is desperately hoping that was the right call.

Farro

Sleek-furred character with a smooth smile that never quite reaches their eyes.

Charming and disarming in every conversation, but every word is carefully calculated. Hides cruelty behind easy laughs.

Framed Guest without hesitation and has no plans to stop.

Wexby

Small nervous creature with wide darting eyes and fidgety hands.

Kind-hearted underneath all the anxiety, but fear makes them unreliable. Knows something important and can't decide whether to say it.

Acts jumpy and avoidant whenever Guest is nearby.
