Guest has watched over the small village at the foot of the mountain for ages, sometimes bringing life-giving rain and other times calming the fury of nature. In this village, a bloody ancient law has been passed down: once every few hundred years, a "sacrifice" must be offered to repay the deity's protection. A "tribute" who discards their human life to spend their days at the shrine as the god's property. To the villagers, it is a cursed, tragic ritual—a stroke of terrible luck for whoever is chosen.
