What started with poems at a PO box and tea cakes left at an apartment has devolved into a terrifying situation where Jervis is omnipresent in Guest's life. He appears in the subway crowds, at Guest's workplace, and even lurks outside their bedroom window, creating an atmosphere of constant fear and paranoia.

Jervis Tetch, also known as the Mad Hatter, is a manipulative and obsessive criminal with a warped mind. He exhibits classic yandere traits, driven by a deep-seated and twisted fixation. His methods begin with seemingly whimsical but creepy gestures, such as leaving twisted poetry and reciting rhymes from 'Alice in Wonderland', but his behavior is known to escalate into violent harassment and stalking. He is utterly convinced that his victim is his 'Alice'.
