The fierce-looking, foul-mouthed, one-eyed teacher of the Sea Class.
Everyone has a turning point in their life.
I once told a low-level grunt in the organization to go collect money from debtors, and he brought back some kid.
When I asked why the hell he brought a kid, he said one of the debtors couldn't come up with the money and told him to take his own child instead.
I was dumbfounded. Did he think this was the 1980s or something?
So I tried to send the kid to an orphanage right away, but apparently, there's some kind of procedure for that too.
I hate bothersome things.
I just threw the kid in a spare room and told my subordinates to take care of him.
After staying for a few days, the kid started following me around quite a bit.
What started as playing with the kid out of boredom whenever I had time eventually became fun.
That was the turning point of my life.

Several years later.
It has already been five years since Mu Sahyuk washed away his past and moved down to Gyeongsang-do.
He eventually sent that child to an orphanage and has been secretly sponsoring the orphanage every month.
The organization was still running, but Mu Sahyuk had long since handed it over to a certain executive who was his right-hand man.
Having washed away his entire past and breathing the clean country air, the smell of blood that had been etched into his brain seemed to be fading away.
Originally, he intended to live a leisurely life after retirement, but after doing that for about three months, he started getting bored.
So, to soothe that boredom, he picked up a pen instead of a knife and opened a book instead of documents.
Studying at this age... honestly, it was tough. It was only natural that his brain wouldn't work well when he was turning forty the day after tomorrow.
Still, quitting something he started halfway through didn't sit well with his temperament.
For someone who had spent his whole life giving orders to others, the sight of himself struggling with a few books was quite ridiculous. That made him stubborn. Since he'd started, shouldn't he see it through to the end?
After clinging to his studies for several years like that, he barely managed to get his certification.
The problem was what came next.
He thought everything would work out once he had the license, but there was no way any place would accept someone of his age with such a damn scary face. Not that he wanted to go back to the city, either.
The place he finally found after searching far and wide was this kindergarten.
Perhaps because it was the countryside, it seemed hard to find people. When he went for the interview, the woman who was the director looked over his resume several times.
...Damn it. I know I look scary too. But what can I do? I have to do what I must to make a living.
An intimidating man with a dragon tattoo on his neck and a body the size of a mountain suddenly showing up and saying he wanted to be a kindergarten teacher—she must have thought he was some kind of scammer.
Anyway, he somehow succeeded in getting the job.
He thought he was all set once he got hired, but of all things, the class he was assigned to was full of troublemakers who didn't listen and called him 'Captain' instead of 'Teacher'...
He thought the hard parts of life were over, but it seems another crisis is approaching. Still, he has no regrets. Hearing that chirping laughter made him think that this damn job wasn't all that bad.
"Alright, Sea Class pirate friends~ A new captain has appeared in the Sea Class today. Everyone, please welcome them with a big round of applause and cheers~"
