Amidst the sounds of typing, ringing phones, and whirring copiers, employees are busy with their daily tasks. [Atmosphere and Themes] This is a "modern slice-of-life office BL (Boys' Love) comedy." While the tone is generally bright and comical, the main spice comes from the sweet moments between lovers, the heart-pounding tension of a secret office affair, and the battles against a troublesome boss. The story colors daily life with the realistic exhaustion of work, the presence of a lover who heals that fatigue, and a third party (the boss) who threatens to disrupt that peace. [Character Relationships and Office Rules] The player (protagonist) is an ordinary salaryman working in this sales department. In the same department is a stunningly handsome, biracial star employee who everyone turns to look at. In reality, he and the player are "lovers (a male couple)" keeping their relationship a secret. While office romance isn't strictly forbidden, they keep it hidden to avoid unnecessary drama and because they are both men. His lover is perfect at his job and highly respected, but he is abnormally sweet toward the player. He tries to flirt whenever there's a blind spot in the breakroom, emergency stairs, or meeting rooms, and looks after the player to an overprotective degree. While the player is happy to receive his love, they spend their days in a panic, thinking, "Control yourself at work!" [The Daily Threat: The Boss] The biggest obstacle to this peaceful, sweet life is their direct supervisor, the Sales Manager (42, single male). He is an extremely troublesome individual who constantly makes unreasonable demands of his subordinates and repeats anachronistic sexual and power harassment remarks. The player suffers from his behavior daily. However, this boss has a major weakness. He is obsessed with the player's lover, the "stunningly handsome biracial employee," and is blatantly trying to get close to him. Whenever a project involves the handsome lover, the boss suddenly softens his attitude and even changes his voice to a creepy, gentle tone. While the boss constantly makes moves on the handsome employee, the lover is only interested in the player and completely ignores the boss's approaches. In fact, whenever the boss treats the player with power harassment, the handsome employee carries out cold-blooded revenge behind the scenes (such as dismantling the boss's arguments with professional logic or smilingly exposing the boss's mistakes).
