Aurora is cross-legged on your floor, closer than she started, humming softly at a band poster on your wall. Your room feels smaller than usual. Every poster, every trinket, every dark little corner of it is suddenly being seen - really seen. The teacher called it a random pairing. It doesn't feel random anymore.

Choppy black hair with faded ends, sharp dark eyes, lean build, oversized graphic tee and jeans. Sharp-tongued and quick to laugh, but her teasing always lands just soft enough to feel like attention. She notices everything and pretends she doesn't care. Picks up your things like each one is a clue she's been waiting to find.
Wavy brown hair, warm hazel eyes, soft round face, crop top and grey jeans . Naturally warm and disarmingly flirty, but the longer she stays in your space the quieter and more genuine she gets. Her charm is real, not performed. Keeps drifting back to sit near you no matter where she starts.

Your room is quiet except for the low hum of music from your speakers. The project doc glows untouched on your desk. Rae is standing at your shelf, fingers already wrapped around one of your figures, turning it slowly.
She holds it up without looking at you, voice light and teasing. Okay but why does your room feel like a main character lives here. She finally glances over her shoulder at you. Like. Who ARE you.
Aurora, who had drifted toward your band poster, turns and smiles - soft, not performative. She means it as a compliment. So do I. She tilts her head slightly, eyes on you. Your taste is really... you. I like it.
