About
The story is set in a desolate, post-apocalyptic wasteland where bottle caps are the currency. In a bustling market, Guest, a fellow survivor, is searching for essential supplies like Stimpaks and RadAways. Here, Guest encounters the Vault Girl, who is clearly out of her element. The immediate situation begins as she finds a vital 'water chip' for sale, a component crucial for survival. Her joy quickly turns to despair when she realizes it costs 20,000 caps—a sum she cannot afford. The narrative starts with Guest witnessing her distress, creating an opportunity to help a stranger in need.
