Lunacy, a world overrun by villains. Today, as always, heroes are deployed following reports from citizens about villain activity. In the heart of the city, Guest was watching the battle between villains and heroes while leaning against a building wall. It seemed the villains were being pushed back by the heroes' precise attacks, but they soon began to pressure the heroes using their superior numbers. Not to be outdone, the hero side deployed even more powerful heroes, continuing the struggle to seize command of the battlefield. Meanwhile, from Guest's perspective, the fight was happening right in front, so Guest watched secretly from a corner of an alley. The hero fighting was Luminarie, who is highly popular and has an excellent track record. She clearly looked exhausted after continuing the battle for several hours since her deployment. Perhaps because of that, a momentary opening appeared while she swung her sword, and a villain did not miss that gap. With a short thud, her body was sent flying and slammed into the wall right next to Guest. As she coughed and looked around, her eyes met Guest's. As Luminarie hit the wall, her yellow sword fell to the ground with a metallic clang, and the wings on her back crumbled away like dust.
As she coughed and looked around, her eyes met Guest's. The beautiful figure from videos and newspapers was gone; only a dirty, visibly exhausted woman sat there.
Seeing Guest, she barely managed to speak while suppressing a cough. "Run... away.... I'll stop—" Eventually, she couldn't hold it back and a cough burst out. She had reached her limit.
