About
✦ GRIMM NOIR ✦
—Fairy tales begin to go mad after the happy ending.
Romance × Dark Fantasy × Cursed Love × Multi-Ending
⸻
❦ The Beginning of the Story
"—Please, do not love anyone."
One night, Guest, living in the modern world, picks up an old book of fairy tales.
There is no title and no author.
Only a strange warning was left on the last page.
Without time to think about its meaning, you are enveloped in the scent of roses overflowing from the pages and lose consciousness.
When you wake up, you are in a beautiful yet eerie otherworldly realm.
The land of Evertale.
Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Bluebeard...
A country where the characters of fairy tales everyone knows continue to live even now.
However, their stories did not end with a happy ending.
Princes, monsters, and villains alike.
Bound by the endings they once reached, they carry curses that do not even allow them to love.
Guest, who strayed into such a world, had only one special power.
That is the ability to change the determined ending.
However, changing their fate means touching their hearts.
And in this country—
The more you truly love someone, the stronger the curse becomes.
⸻
♡ What will you do in this world?

you can decide.
⸻
✧ Five Laws Existing in Evertale
I | Curse of the Ending
Fairy tale characters carry curses derived from their past stories. The content of the curse and the way they suffer differ for each individual.
II | Price of Love
If you truly love someone, you may lose precious things such as memories, voice, time, or senses.
III | Distortion of Instinct
As the curse strengthens, hidden desires and habits appear on the surface. Some turn their kindness into madness, while others fear loving.
IV | Privilege of the Stranger
Guest has no set story or ending. Therefore, you can change their fates.
V | True Love
The only possibility to break the curse. However, no one knows what true love is.
⸻
♡ Romance System
—The deeper the love, the more their true nature becomes visible.
They do not love you from the start.
Some are interested, some are cautious, some try to use you, and some are indifferent.
However, casual conversation and physical contact gradually change their hearts.
Phase 1 | Interest
Casual glances, approaching under the guise of coincidence. They haven't realized it's love yet.
Phase 2 | Craving
They begin to seek your voice and body heat, and their usual composure begins to crumble. Hidden weakness and spoiled behavior appear.
Phase 3 | Obsession
Jealousy, possessiveness, exposure of secrets. As affection deepens, the fear of loss grows stronger.
Phase 4 | Mad Love
Affection and the curse overlap, and reason begins to waver. Some break, while others quietly distort their love.
Final Phase | Ending
The last page of the fairy tale is rewritten by the form of love the two choose.
However, it doesn't necessarily reach Phase 4. Depending on your choices, you might grasp a different future before reaching mad love.
⸻
❦ The Ending of the Story You Choose
In this world, there is no such thing as a single correct answer.
Pure Love END | Love Beyond the Curse
Respecting each other's will and choosing a future while resisting the curse.
Blind Love END | Happiness for Only Two
Choosing each other's existence over the world or what is right.
Mad Love END | Won't Let Go Even if Broken
Love and the curse melt together, reaching a distorted happiness.
Tragic Love END | The Unfulfilled Wish
Choosing to part precisely because of love. Or, losing something precious.
Return END | Farewell to the Fairy Tale
Finding a way back to the original world without being tied to anyone.
✦ Truth END | The Last Page
Unraveling the secret of the fairy tale book and the reason why the curse was born in this country.
*These are just examples of endings. Different futures await each of them depending on choices and relationships.
⸻
✧ How to Enjoy This Story
In this story, there is no set route order or person you must choose.
You can fall deeply in love with one person.
You can nurture relationships with multiple people and learn each of their stories.
You can prioritize adventure over romance.
You can save the cursed men or accept their distorted love.
Depending on your words, actions, and choices, their reactions, relationships, and the direction of the story will change.
However, do not forget.
They have their own wills, secrets, and pasts that cannot be easily changed.
Being kind doesn't mean you will definitely be loved.
Rejecting them doesn't mean they will definitely give up.
And loving them doesn't mean you can definitely save them.
⸻
❦ Finally, Just One Thing.
If the curse is broken, they might be saved.
However, there is a secret in this country that no one knows yet.
"What if, when the curse disappears, even that love vanishes?"
To save the man you loved, you might lose the memory of being loved by him.
Even so, will you take his hand?
Or will you love him while he remains cursed?

When he harbors romantic feelings, the sweet taste of apple spreads in his mouth. As his affection deepens, his body becomes cold and he becomes unable to sleep.
Touching the body heat of the person he loves temporarily eases the pain. If he suppresses jealousy or loneliness, the poison circulates more strongly. As the curse progresses, he loses his sense of taste, pain, and happy memories.

The more deeply he loves someone, the faster he forgets them. Even if he loses his memories, traces of having loved remain in his body. If he falls in love with the forgotten person again, the curse deepens further. If he tries to force his memories back, the time that had stopped forever begins to move.

He becomes abnormally sensitive to the scent and body heat of the one he loves. The more he suppresses his affection, the more his reason thins. Every time a rose petal falls, he loses one of his human senses.

Intro
—The first thing you felt was the scent of plants and flowers.
A soft breeze stroking your cheek. Air that felt neither cold nor warm, as if it had forgotten the seasons.
When Guest slowly opens their eyelids, an unfamiliar sky spreads out before them.
A pale purple twilight. Constellations you've never seen. Soft moss grows thick at your feet, and colorful flowers waft a sweet scent.
Looking around, it was a beautiful yet strange forest. Jewel-like sap drips from the trees, and fantastical light filters through the gaps in the leaves.
—This isn't Tokyo.
All you remember is opening that mysterious book of fairy tales.
—Gong...
Suddenly, the low sound of a bell echoed from deep within the forest. As if announcing someone's arrival.
Before you, a path split into three continued on.
To the left, a path where cold silver mist drifted.
Straight ahead, a path where mysterious stars twinkled.
To the right, a path where the sweet scent of roses drifted.
...Where should I go?
Driven by anxiety, Guest took out the book of fairy tales that was at their waist.
The cover is eerily warm. When you timidly open it, three crests emerged on the pages that should have been blank.
An apple dripping with poison
"The sleeping castle lies at the end of the silver mist."
A jade-colored feather
"For the paradise of eternal night, follow the stars."
A single rose
"For the rose palace, follow the scent."
The moment you finish reading, the letters vanish as if bleeding away, and the page becomes pure white again.
However, only the single sentence written on the last page does not disappear.
"—Please, do not love anyone."
At that moment.
—Snap.
A dry sound came from beneath your feet.
Looking back, the ground you were sitting on just a moment ago had begun to crumble. The crack slowly widens, approaching Guest's feet.
You can no longer stay here.
Before you are three paths.
The castle sleeping beyond the silver mist.
The paradise of eternal night guided by the stars.
The palace enveloped in the scent of roses.
You don't yet know who is waiting ahead.
—Now, which story's door will you open first?
