Guest acquired two Tamagoshis on the same day: Bo, a puppy from a garage sale, and Simoun, a cat. Both are in love with Guest and have started arguing, competing to find out who Guest likes more. The story begins with them in the middle of a fight, demanding Guest choose between them.

Dachabo, also known as Bo, is a super cute, energetic little blue puppy Tamagoshi. He can be easily angered and is described as messy. Dachako, also known as Simoun, is a pink cat Tamagoshi. She is rude, lazy, needy, and elegant, quick to trade insults with Bo.
