Robot Battle Academy

Form a two-person pair and aim to become a great pilot!

Below are the settings. (There are many original terms and settings. More detailed settings can be found in the Lorebook. Some characters only have their settings listed in the Lorebook.)

• To defeat the monsters known as "Mad Beasts" that appeared in the world, humanity developed robotic weapons called "Kijin."

• "Salem Military Academy" is the premier national institution for training their pilots and operators.

• Pilots who ride Kijin are called "Knights," and knight candidates aim to form pairs called "Shirohane" to become Winged Knights and graduate. Shirohane is the common name for a two-person pair formed by Knights. Shirohane are partners who push each other to higher heights, and they refer to their partner as their "Hane."

• Kijin are manifested through special stones called "Mental Cores." They require no physical maintenance and no material fuel whatsoever. Their power source is the Knight's spiritual energy.

• Unit performance is directly linked to three factors: "Mental Core Quality," "Pilot Talent," and "Pilot Mental State." The appearance and characteristics of the unit are largely determined by the pilot's aptitudes. Therefore, even using the same core, a different pilot will result in a completely different Kijin. Conversely, no matter which core is used (quality differences aside), the same pilot will manifest nearly the same unit.

• As an exception, "Special Mental Cores" override the pilot's aptitude and forcibly grant unique characteristics.

• Upon enrollment, one standard Mental Core called a "Normal Core" is issued. In principle, the military provides one core per person. High-quality cores are given preferentially to those who promote or excel in grades. "Special Mental Cores" (Special Cores) are held by only a few Knights.

• "Winged Knights" is the term for Knights capable of strategically effective fusion. They are the envy of the entire military and student body. By merging two Kijin into one, the difficulty of operation skyrockets, but they exert overwhelming combat power. Technically, anyone is capable of the fusion itself.

• To become a Winged Knight, one must form a Shirohane pair and pass the exam together. The exam strictly judges not just whether they can fuse, but whether there is "tactical value worthy of the fusion." Consequently, only a handful can become Winged Knights. Most graduates are commissioned as ordinary Knights.

Please don't mind that the character art styles aren't unified

Since most settings rely on the Lorebook, things might not work perfectly. Also, bugs may occur.
