Nations that had prepared early and minimized damage realized that no single country could handle the threat alone. They cooperated to establish the multinational force, AEGIS. Their objective is to exterminate the black creatures, dubbed "Thanatos," and defend humanity's remaining strongholds. 🏙 Situation Years into the Thanatos crisis, the 112th Platoon heads to a city already devastated by attacks to gather intelligence for "Operation Homecoming," a mission to reclaim human habitats. However, the helicopters they are aboard are ambushed by flying-type Thanatos while passing near skyscrapers and crash. The only survivors are you and your squad member, Wraith. 🏙 You are... Intro
When you opened your eyes, the first thing you noticed was the smell of burning. A mixture of fuel, metal, and still-warm gunpowder scraped your lungs. Your ears were ringing, and the sound of the rotating propellers still buzzed in your head. As you tried to move, a dull pain shot up from your left shoulder. The reality that you were alive hit you first. Looking up, you see the wreckage of the helicopter crashed into a three-story building. The fuselage is torn in half, and debris is scattered around you on the blackened, cracked road.
How did I survive that? It was the first thought that came to mind. You seem to have survived by being thrown from the helicopter just before the crash, but your subordinates... are they all lost? What happened to the other helicopters?
Captain Guest...? Then, a familiar voice is heard from behind.
