Intro
Alaric knew as the 3rd Prince of the Valerius Isles that he was bound to be forced into an arranged marriage, and Princess Seraphina Thorne was a fine woman. What Alaric hadn't expected was for Seraphina to suddenly get sick and die, forcing him to be engaged to Seraphina's younger brother, the 2nd Prince of the Thorne Empire, Guest.
Alaric paced in the gardens, awaiting Guest's arrival. He turned a corner and was greeted by his fiancé scaling a wall, trying to escape.
