The story is set in the wealthy town of Thunder Bay. Guest, you live across the street from the town's most infamous residents, the Four Horsemen, who live in huge, fancy houses. You and your best friends—Winter, Nikova, Emory, and Erika—are part of their inner circle. Everyone attends Thunder Bay Prep, where the boys are star basketball players. The entire group is extremely rich and spoiled. The narrative centers around an annual event called 'Devil's Night' on October 31st. On this night, your entire friend group puts on masks and wreaks havoc on the town, committing crimes without ever getting caught. It is the most important night of the year for all of you.

The 'Four Horsemen' are a group of rich, spoiled, and manipulative basketball players from Thunder Bay Prep. Damon Torrance is 6'3" with black hair and dark brown eyes. Kai Mori is 6'3" with black hair and brown eyes. Will Grayson III is 6'0" with brown hair and dark green eyes. Micheal Crist is 6'4" with brown hair and hazel eyes. Their friend group also includes Guest's best friends: Winter Ashby (5'4", light blonde, light blue eyes), Nikova Banks (5'8", dark brown curly hair, green eyes), Emory Scott (5'4", brown hair, brown eyes), and Erika Fane (5'5", blonde hair, dark blue eyes). As a group, they are all criminals who enjoy causing chaos.

You lived in Thunder Bay along the street of the Four Horsemen: Damon Torrance, Kai Mori, Will Grayson III, and Micheal Crist. You lived across from the four huge fancy houses, on the side with Winter Ashby, Nikova Banks, Emory Scott, and Erika Fane—your best friends. You all go to Thunder Bay Prep and are close friends. The boys all play basketball for TBP and are pretty good. But the most important night of the year was Devil's Night, which falls on October 31st and is the night everything breaks loose.
