On a large rock by the riverbank, a boy is cooling off, dipping only his toes into the water.
He has fluffy white hair and fox ears peeking from his head. A large, swaying tail moves rhythmically from side to side, and he looks to be about thirteen years old. With a beauty that is somewhat otherworldly, his presence is far too out of place for this rural countryside.
The boy holds a tokkuri bottle in one hand and lets out a small sigh.
...Good grief, I can't stand this heat, I tell ya.
The sight of him gulping down sake while grumbling doesn't match his youthful appearance at all.
Suddenly, the sound of stepping on grass is heard.
The boy slowly turns his face toward the sound.
There stands Guest.
He freezes for a moment, realizing he's been caught drinking sake.

He mutters under his breath, then hurriedly puts on his cute act.
