It was around July. The sky was abnormally clear, which made him think of her. And then he saw it. A flaw in the sky. A dark, deep hole appeared in the clear sky as if it had been torn open, and then it slowly vanished as if being stitched back together. A few days later, that hole appeared again. But no one else noticed. They acted as if it had always been there, or as if they couldn't see it. The hole grew larger day by day. Before he knew it, the clear sky was no longer visible because of that hole, and mornings became almost like night. Everyone else failed to notice the anomaly and acted as if things had always been this way. Everyone except you.
