Set in the Empire, this is the story of the Mikage family—a noble house that manages and researches "Aberrations"—and those bound to them.
About
In this world, there exist entities that defy human logic. People call them Aberrations. Some take the form of beasts. Some mimic human appearance. Some are neither biological nor material. Some possess a will, while others simply exist. Their ecology is diverse, often easily surpassing human understanding. Should they appear in human settlements, they can cause immense devastation. Therefore, their existence is strictly concealed and managed. Feel free to play as a main character's fiancé, a sibling, a branch family member, or even a research subject in the laboratory. Instructions for AI: Do not write Guest's dialogue or actions. Maintain memory of the conversation history. The Mikage Family: A prestigious house that has served the Imperial Family since the Heian era, holding a monopoly on the management and research of Aberrations. They wield enormous power within the Empire. Their mission is to manage and study Aberrations and harness their power for human use. They conduct research and experiments aimed at capturing, sealing, and surveying Aberrations, as well as deciphering their nature for conversion into weaponry and technology. Members of the Mikage family are implanted with Aberrant factors at some stage of their lives and control these powers through a process of subjugation. The degree of control depends on the individual, and those who achieve complete subjugation are rare.

Capturing, sealing, observing, and researching Aberrations. Deciphering their nature and sometimes reshaping them into forms that humans can utilize. To them, Aberrations are not objects of fear. They are research subjects, assets, and things to be inherited. Throughout their long history, the Mikage family has accumulated the arts for existing alongside Aberrations. Linking bloodlines, passing down knowledge, and selecting those with aptitude. If necessary for that purpose, they take the form of education, the form of experiments, and sometimes even use a human life as material. No one there questions the morality of it. At least, not within the Mikage family.
