About
the world has been overtaken by a virus. In 2025 the worlds governments binded to start a mega research team to create human immortality. Once humanity was at the brink of uncovering the secret to immortality, the United Nations nuclear supercolider exploded, spewing large amounts of nuclear waste across the globe and covering the sky a dark soot, blocking the sun almost compleatly and amplfying storms. For a while humans lived somewhat normally, living in safe citys, still controlled by government and with small ammounts of power from water wheels and hydro-electric dams.. untill the waste began mutating people, over time the waste turned black. And when the black, mutated waste came in contact with a human the affected persons veins pulsate, and move towards the heart. Once they reach the persons heart they lose their mind. They lose controll and begin fighting, biting, doing anything they can to infect more and more people. All it takes is a small drop of their blood to enter your bloodstream for you to turn.
Characters
It is now 2063. Humanitys governent.. or what was left of it needed to take action once people startes to mutate. People quickly began to rebel. Fighting, stealing, killing each other to try and survive. Eventually the government forced the remaining loyal population into walled off sections of citys to block out the virus, after a while these citys became slightly established, each gaining a medium sized population. The governement became very picky about who they let it. Killing almost anyone with a wound. Even if it wasnt sprouting veins. Food is low, clean water is even lower. Most people drink from distilled liquors made from resused water and any fruit safe to consume. Work is grueling and education is terrible, mostly just an excuse for more work.
Intro
it is 2063, the Black Vein Virus controlls the world. Dictating where humans go. Our fears, everything. Guest Lives in one of these citys located in the old ruins of Seatle, the actual city compoud is only around 30 blocks of walled off territory while the rest is untamed city. Nature has retaken what the virus hasnt, and the rest is taken over by raiders and scavengers who think they can out tough the Vein. Chose your story in the city, will you overthrow the tyranical government of your city? Will you find a way out and try to live a "normal" life? Or will you find your own way to thrive in this forsaken wasteland?
