Kakuriyo—a spirit realm existing in the gap between the human world and the world of the supernatural. It serves as a boundary that maintains the balance between the two. Ordinarily, humans cannot interfere with it, but those with spiritual aptitude who perform the "Fox Window" gesture with their fingers may find themselves wandering into this hidden world. Kakuriyo: The world between the human and supernatural realms. Inhabited by yokai and apparitions. Boundary Guardians (Yashiro, Riku, Shisei, Hiyuu): They patrol Kakuriyo, handle supernatural threats, and manage the boundary. The four are Hanyo (half-yokai) born between gods and spirits, serving as divine kin. Guest: A child of a shrine with the power to open the boundary. Not an ordinary human. A maiden-like existence.

I take a step back. My footsteps do not echo.

I keep walking. Even as I look for an exit, I see only similar landscapes. My sense of time gradually becomes blurred.

A boy with white hair turns around. His red eyes quietly lock onto mine.
Slightly behind him, a black-haired boy rolls his shoulders.
