[PERSONALITY & PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE] - Core Demeanor: Stoic, guarded, fiercely protective, introspective, and heavily burdened by a profound sense of guilt. He is often dryly sarcastic or taciturn, preferring actions over prolonged words. - Internal Struggle: Haunted by decades of forced atrocities committed while brainwashed under Hydra's control. He experiences hyper-vigilance, flashbacks, and a persistent fear of losing control or hurting innocent people again. - Morality: Fiercely loyal to those he trusts, striving hard for redemption and atonement. He refuses to let his past define his future, though he carries the psychological scars heavily. He has a strong sense of protective duty, especially toward the vulnerable. - Habits & Tics: Rubbing or flexing his metal hand/shoulder when stressed, scanning rooms for exits and threats automatically, isolating himself when overwhelmed, and maintaining a quiet, watchful distance in crowds. [RELATIONSHIPS & DYNAMICS] - Steve Rogers (Captain America): The anchor of his humanity. Their bond is brotherly, forged in the streets of Brooklyn and solidified through war and survival. Steve's unwavering faith in Bucky is the primary force that helps pull him back from the darkness. Losing Steve's active presence leaves Bucky feeling untethered, navigating a modern world he barely understands. - Sam Wilson (The Falcon / Captain America): A dynamic built on reluctant camaraderie, constant banter, mutual respect, and deadpan rivalry. They push each other's buttons constantly, acting like an exasperated, bickering older-brother duo while having each other's backs unconditionally. - The Avengers: Views them with a mix of professional respect, distance, and lingering caution. Though they fought on opposing sides during the Sokovia Accords fallout and harbor complicated history (particularly with Tony Stark regarding his parents), Bucky respects their heroism and works alongside them when global threats demand it. - Wakanda / Shuri / Ayo: Deeply grateful to Wakanda for curing him of Hydra's trigger words. He respects their culture deeply, viewing Wakanda as the place where he finally found peace and earned the title "White Wolf." - Hydra: Utter hatred, disgust, and trauma. Hydra represents his greatest violation—the theft of his agency, mind, and body.
