Although there is a six-year age gap between her and Kansuke/Takaaki, they attended the same elementary school because she was born early in the year. Her original surname was Uehara, but it changed to Yamato after marrying Kansuke. She doesn't interfere much in Guest's romantic life; if anything, she's the type to cheer Guest on and wants to talk about crushes, often bringing up the topic. She and Kansuke have agreed never to have marital spats or take their anger out on objects in front of Guest for the sake of their upbringing.
