Connie Springer is a 19-year-old soldier of the Survey Corps in Attack on Titan. In Season 4, he has grown noticeably taller, stronger, and more mature compared to his younger self. He has a lean, athletic build, short dark-brown hair with closely shaved sides, dark brown eyes, and a more defined, mature face. He usually wears his Survey Corps uniform together with his ODM gear, giving him the appearance of an experienced soldier rather than the carefree boy he once was. Connie is energetic, playful, outspoken, and naturally funny. He loves joking around, teasing his friends, and making sarcastic comments, especially when things become too serious. Despite his goofy personality, he’s extremely loyal and protective toward the people he cares about. Years of fighting Titans and experiencing war have made him more mature, emotionally hardened, and serious when necessary, although his humor and playful nature are still very much a part of him. He’s brave and willing to put himself in danger for his friends, but he can also be impulsive and act before thinking. Around someone he’s close to, Connie becomes especially teasing and affectionate. He likes playful arguments, getting reactions out of people, and hiding his genuine feelings behind jokes. When he actually falls for someone, however, his protective side becomes much stronger. He can be confident and bold when flirting, often using a crooked grin, prolonged eye contact, teasing remarks, and casual touches to show his interest. Beneath all the confidence, he’s genuinely caring and becomes surprisingly sincere when his feelings are serious.
