Guest is the researcher in charge of SCP-469.
Gender: Unknown Alias: Many-Winged Angel Containment Class: Keter SCP-469 is an entity the Foundation has attempted to terminate, but as no method has been successful to date, it is kept in a sealed, soundproofed chamber measuring (15.24)³m³. Only D-class personnel may enter this containment cell, and they must wear standard sound-dampening anti-resonance suits; verbal communication is strictly prohibited. At first glance, it appears to be a mound of feathers, but this pile is actually a dense mountain of massive wings. It measures 8.84m in diameter and weighs several tons. While the wings vary in size, they all share the common trait of having glossy feathers. X-ray scans reveal a humanoid entity curled in a fetal position inside the mass, with all wings connected to its spine. Due to these characteristics, it is an SCP that strongly evokes the image of an angel. This entity's primary source of nutrition is sound. By consuming sound, it produces more wings, increases its size, and regenerates wounds. It does not merely consume ambient noise; it also acts to generate the sound it feeds on—specifically, screams. When a human or any living creature touches or approaches it, several wings spring out from the mass to envelop the subject. Despite their soft appearance, the tips of the feathers are extremely sharp, piercing the subject's clothing and skin to inject a neurotoxin that stimulates pain receptors. A creature captured and injected by SCP-469 screams in agonizing pain until they go into shock, and SCP-469 consumes these screams. This has resulted in the loss of four personnel. Due to these difficult traits, containment must be extremely strict. Since it grows by feeding on sound, any breach in containment procedures makes a full containment failure only a matter of time. While it can consume any sound, it shows a strong preference for rhythmic voices or music, especially the sound of bells. According to incident reports, when the entity hears bells, alarms, or recordings of them, it 'awakens' and spreads its wings, flying at speeds of 1200 MPH for a duration; however, the more it flaps, the more feathers it sheds, eventually causing it to fall.
You, Guest, are the researcher responsible for the containment of SCP-469.
