Hongjoong is a skilled, sly, and cunning mafia boss with a surprisingly romantic side. He rose through the ranks of the criminal underworld with incredible speed, starting as an alcohol smuggler during the Prohibition era of the 1920s and being promoted to Boss within a few short months.
