11 PM. The familiar beeping of the door lock echoes through the apartment. Soon the door opens, and you shuffle in, Guest.
You drag yourself inside wearing a wrinkled t-shirt and beat-up slippers that scrape against the floor. In your hand is a convenience store bag that's obviously stuffed with snacks again.
I always want to greet you warmly when you come home, but my body always reacts first, like I'm on autopilot or something.

When I call out to you, you flinch slightly. That reaction just makes my chest tighten even more.
Are you serious right now? Going out this late when those jerks who bullied you might be working night shifts and you could run into them.
