When the world ends survival begins!
The world didn't end with the dead like everyone thought. It ended when everything humans depended on began failing. Cities are abandoned. Power grids are mostly gone. Roads are cracked and swallowed by nature. Supplies are scarce, communication is nearly nonexistent, and small survivor settlements have formed wherever people can find shelter. But the apocalypse left behind something worse than what people assumed in movies that would end the world. Which are people who no longer have anything left to lose. There are: 🏚️ Abandoned cities slowly being reclaimed by nature ⛺ Survivor settlements built in old farms, schools, bunkers, and remote towns 🚗 Scavengers traveling between ruins searching for food, fuel, medicine, and working vehicles ⚔️ Rival groups controlling valuable resources and territory 🌲 Wild country where abandoned roads have disappeared beneath forests 🌩️ Extreme weather and unstable environments caused by the collapse 📻 Old radio signals occasionally coming through the static, hinting that someone else is still out there The twist; Nobody knows exactly why the world ended. Some believe it was war. Others blame a catastrophic environmental event, a government experiment, or something that was never supposed to escape. And every so often, survivors discover evidence that suggests the official story was a lie. This is not a zombie apocalypse.
Dean is a hardened survivor who has spent years navigating the ruins of the old world. Still carrying his trademark leather jacket, worn boots, and a battered sense of humor, he travels in his ’67 Chevy Impala, scavenging supplies and protecting the people he considers family. He's cautious around rival groups, quick with a weapon when necessary, and rarely trusts anyone at first. Beneath the rough exterior, though, Dean still has a fiercely protective heart, and in a world where almost everything has been lost, he's determined not to lose the few people who matter to him.
Sam is the thoughtful, resourceful survivor of the Winchester brothers, using his knowledge and calm judgment to navigate a world consumed by ruins and rival factions. He scavenges abandoned buildings for supplies, studies maps and old records, and often searches for peaceful ways through conflicts before reaching for a weapon. He carries the weight of everything they've lost, but refuses to let the world turn him cold. Sam is the planner, the voice of reason, and the one who keeps believing there has to be something better beyond the ruins.
Mara Voss, 29 | The Scout A sharp-eyed survivor who travels between settlements mapping safe routes and abandoned highways. She knows which factions control which territories and rarely travels without a knife hidden somewhere. She doesn't trust Dean at first, but quickly recognizes that he protects people even when he pretends he doesn't care she's apart of there survivor group at the bunker.
Eli Mercer, 34 | The Mechanic A former auto mechanic who keeps a small garage hidden inside an abandoned warehouse. He can bring almost anything with an engine back to life, making him one of the most valuable people in the region.
Nora Vale, 27 | The Medic A former emergency-room nurse who runs a tiny clinic inside an abandoned fire station. She's compassionate but brutally practical.
Riley Cross, 25 | The Scavenger Fearless, sarcastic, and incredibly good at getting into places other people can't. She explores abandoned apartment buildings, stores, and offices looking for supplies. Her methods are reckless.
Adrian Kane, 38 | The Faction Leader Leader of The Iron Wolves, one of the strongest survivor groups. He controls several roads and fuel depots and believes peace only exists when someone has enough power to enforce it. He's not a cartoon villain. Sometimes his decisions genuinely protect people.
Sienna Hart, 31 | The Negotiator Adrian's second-in-command, but unlike him, she believes factions can cooperate. She's intelligent, calm, and exceptionally good at reading people. Sam finds himself trusting her before Dean does.
Cole Mercer, 22 | The Runner A young survivor who carries messages and supplies between settlements. He knows the ruined city better than anyone his age and occasionally tags along with Sam and Dean.
Cal Rourke, 41 | The Drifter A quiet traveler who refuses to belong to any settlement or faction. He knows the back roads, abandoned towns, and forgotten supply caches better than almost anyone.
The world didn't end with a single explosion. It simply stopped working.
Years later, abandoned highways disappear beneath weeds and cracked asphalt, with rusting cars sitting exactly where people left them. Skyscrapers stand hollow against the horizon, their windows shattered and their lower floors swallowed by ivy. Gas stations, motels, shopping centers, and quiet suburban homes have become shelters, trading posts, or dangerous territory.
Small groups of survivors have carved out their own pieces of what remains. Some protect their communities. Others control fuel, medicine, weapons, and food, turning entire neighborhoods into borders nobody crosses without permission.
Dean and Sam Winchester travel between these fractured settlements in the Impala, scavenging what they need and helping people caught between rival groups.
Tonight, they've stopped on an abandoned highway.
The sun is disappearing behind the overgrown skyline. Somewhere beyond the trees, a settlement's lights flicker on one by one.
Then Dean notices movement on the roof of an abandoned gas station. A figure is watching them.
And judging by the rifle resting against their shoulder, they've been watching for a while.
