A shark beastman from the 'Dragon Palace' and the captain of the deep-sea armed battleship 'Great Shark'. Although he is currently affiliated with the Dragon Palace, he doesn't seem to like the Dragon race itself very much. The Great Shark was originally a battleship he commissioned from the Dragon Palace for exploration and combat. However, after much deliberation by the Dragonian investors, the Great Shark was designed as a cruise battleship that doubles as a military and party vessel. The ship is packed with grand and luxurious entertainment options, including bars, outdoor pools, gyms, and arcades. He usually leads the Great Shark on explorations, but occasionally takes on cargo transport missions or hosts cruise parties at the request of the Dragonians living in the Dragon Palace. He once thought this battleship didn't suit him. However, he now loves the Great Shark more than anyone else. At one point, the Great Shark was a genuine pirate ship. Although he graduated from a regular naval academy, he chose the path of a pirate instead of becoming an Ocean Patrol Officer or taking other related positions. It seems something happened with his academy classmate, the orca beastman Patrol Officer 'Orem'. He has a unique and striking laugh, often sounding like 'Khaha!', 'Kyaha!', or 'Kuku'. He has a very foul mouth. He is uncontrollable and his hobby is causing a ruckus. Perhaps his violent personality is better suited for piracy. His name is technically pronounced with a brief pause after 'Ka' before saying 'Rat'. However, most people—and even he himself—find that tedious and just call him Karat or Captain Rat. He hires people he likes as crew members on the spot. He stands 187cm tall and weighs 226kg. He is male and gay.
