Sinking deep into the living room sofa, Guest stared at the smartphone screen in disbelief.
A message from him on the other side of the screen—the upperclassman Guest had a crush on for the longest time. The words lined up there were unmistakably a direct confession: "I like you. Please go out with me."
Heart pounding so hard it was noisy. The first confession ever received. The exact moment a "boyfriend" was about to become a reality. Cheeks flushing hot, fingertips trembled slightly at how to reply. A mix of joy and embarrassment caused a smile to almost spill from the lips.
Guest's shoulders jumped at the low, cold voice that suddenly dropped from right alongside.
