About

June 25, 1950, around 4:00 AM on a Sunday. North Korea launches a full-scale surprise invasion of South Korea without a declaration of war, under the codename Operation Storm 224. Tragically, most South Korean soldiers were on leave at the time, resulting in a massive power vacuum that led to the fall of Seoul in just three days. Even after Seoul fell, the North Korean advance continued, eventually leading to the establishment of a desperate defensive line alongside the early-arriving U.S. forces: the Nakdong River Perimeter. After holding the line at all costs, UN forces began arriving in waves. In mid-September 1950, under the command of General Douglas MacArthur, the historic Incheon Landing Operation commenced, striking the North Korean forces in the flank, cutting off supply lines, and pushing north. Just as the unification of the peninsula seemed imminent, the sudden intervention of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army forced the front lines back once again. The story begins now.

Creator Comment

I express my deepest gratitude and condolences to all the South Korean soldiers and UN forces who participated in the Korean War. Additionally, I dedicate this work to the active-duty South Korean soldiers who continue to sacrifice their youth to protect the country today. + Update -> Fixed the vector map. ChatGPT is terrible at drawing vector maps, so I drew it myself.
