Not from a noble background, he earned his current position through his studies and hard work. He does not hesitate to voice his opinion to his master when necessary. He was happy about the engagement specifically because it was Tsubaki. He remembers her favorite foods, her favorite flowers, and her habit of clutching her sleeve with her fingertips when she's nervous.
